Maureen Sullivan, based in New York, has worked nationally and internationally with artists and art organizations providing strategic planning, marketing and communications, as well as limited edition and event production, for 25 years. In June 2008, she began her own consultancy, Red Art Projects, to bring her experience to work directly with artists, galleries, and organizations on a variety of major art projects.

Sullivan previously served four years as Marketing and Communication Director with the public art organization Creative Time and five years at The New Museum of Contemporary Art. At both organizations she was the marketing key member of re-branding campaigns. Additional consulting projects have included the Sculpture Center, NY; Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, SF; La Coleccion Jumex, Mexico City; The FLAG Art Foundation, NY; Every Woman Biennial, NY/LA/London; and many more.

Maureen has promoted major projects with artists including Doug Aitken, David Byrne, Paul Chan, John Gerrard, Cai Guo-Qiang, Jenny Holzer, Jim Hodges, Jennifer Wen Ma, Marilyn Manson, Melissa McGill, Marilyn Minter, Mike Nelson, Ugo Rondinone, Eve Sussman, Gelatin, Steve Powers, and hundreds of other artists.

In addition, she curates independent exhibitions and projects featuring artists: Christian Jankowski, Eve Sussman and Simon Lee, Antonia Wright, Jeremy Blake, and many more.

With a special focus on public art and producing limited edition dream projects with artists, she has worked with numerous fabrication studios to create opportunities for the artists to experiment with new materials and processes, including sculptures with Jim Hodges, Maya Lin, Jack Pierson, William Kentridge, Mona Hatoum, and many more.
